| Probably the best American Who poster of the sixties! Love the script - "Zaniest In-Person Rock Show Ever Seen in America!" Also, the only Who concert poster that I know of that features "Peter Townshend!" as the frontman of The Who. Great Boxing style format on thicker cardstock paper with flat finish.
This is the only original concert poster I know to exist for this venue. Be careful however if someone is trying to convince you they have another original copy, there are several different reproductions of this poster. The reproductions vary in size and paper type from the original and all have some picture quality loss from the original. Simplicity is the key to this poster combined with all the right elements - Boxing Style, crazy catchy script, great picture of the group, along with an American heartland appearance - posters don't get too much better than this. |
